The river Karun crosses through the Khuzestan province in south west of the country telling one of Iran’s major cities – Ahwaz – apart. It has long been Hexa’s duty investigating and designing the best ways to crossing over the river. The 8th bridge completed in 2011 as second long spanned cable stayed bridge in the country has contributed to aesthetic aspects of the city and subsequently the 9th bridge is being constructed as longest spanned concrete box girder bridge in Iran.
