Hexa has started its participation in national railway projects since 1982 by the contract of Bafgh – Bandar Abbas project “The first railway project which was built by Iranians with no technical assistance of international expertise”. Towards development of Iran’s major transportation system, Hexa Consulting Engineers has done its share and successfully finished major railway routes such as Teharn – Qom Express Railway and Mashhad – Sarakhs in 90’s.
Hexa has always tried to modify the routes of railway projects reducing distances, travel durations etc. In this regard, recently in Kermanshah – Samangan railway project, Hexa has reduced the route for about 30 km comparing to the initial route design of the client.
Bridges, tunnels, galleries and trenches are always included in such major railway projects in which Hexa has always tried to optimize designs and construction procedures. In Miyaneh – Tabriz railway project, there are 8 valley-crossing bridges included which are currently under construction by state-of-the-art incremental launching increasing construction schedules as well as great deal of contribution to environment with the least disturbance to valleys .
